We invite you to join Vintner Hugh Davies for a winemaker dinner on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Gravitas in Washington, D.C. Enjoy a special evening of delicious Schramsberg and Davies Vineyards wines paired with a five-course dinner prepared by Executive Chef Matt Baker and his culinary team, featuring seasonal cooking and sourcing from local farms and the bounty of the Chesapeake Bay.
Just awarded a Michelin Star for “offering star-caliber cuisine,” and named a “top new restaurant of 2019” by The Washington Post, Gravitas showcases thoughtful, delicious and beautiful dishes that aim to nourish and surprise.
The evening will begin on the Rooftop Conservatory for canapés, sparkling wine and a sabering demonstration by Hugh. The evening will continue in the industrial chic, airy and light-filled main dining room.
Eight wines will be featured during the evening, including our 2009 J. Schram Brut Rosé, 2009 J. Schram Brut, 2016 Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs, 2016 Davies Vineyards “Ferrington Vineyards” Pinot Noir, 2016 Davies Vineyards “Nobles Vineyards” Pinot Noir, 2013 and 2015 J.
