"An awesome rosé, just a tremendous feat. Made from 11 vineyards in 4 counties, it shows a masterful art of the blend. Insanely rich in toasted bread and lees, showing the influence of six years in the bottle. A tremendous core of strawberries, raspberries, orange zest, roasted macadamia, roasted coconut, pear liqueur and honey lasts into the finish. Despite the richness, the wine is dry. So lovely now you can hardly keep your hands off, but it should age gracefully for the next 10–15 years." (December 1, 2011)

"This latest version of Schramsberg’s very top Rosé is a tour de force of Méthode Champenoise winemaking, and, if built with a fine supporting cast of fruit, this wine is about pastry shop richness and layers of minerals and creamy yeast. It is every bit as beautifully crafted and balanced as it is rich and plentifully bubbled, and it exhibits stunning length at the finish. To be sure, it is not a winsome Rosé to quaff at garden parties, and it very much deserves to be instead set aside for special occasions." (November 2011)

"Offers bold aromas of cinnamon-spiced apple and cherry, with crisp, focused citrus and strawberry flavors that linger toward a delicate toasty vanilla finish." (October 19, 2011)

nice vanilla tones; juicy, racy, tangy and

"....Yeasty nose deepens to toast with dried and cooked stone fruit and tropical fruit aromas. Soft, juicy mid-palate of light, dried orange stone fruit components of nectarine and peach together with hints of strawberry, tangerine, mandarin, bitter orange and tropical fruit. Acid develops and builds from mid-palate to the finish with pleasant lemon/lime elements. Lemon tart, mandarin orange and red grapefruit elements mingle in the complex finish." (December 2009)

"Has a pretty copper-partridge color and is very dry, with crisp, mouthwatering acidity and a yeasty, leesy tartness. Flavorwise, this bubbly is about subtle raspberries,
cherry skin, tangerine, brioche and vanilla. Feels a bit full-bodied and juvenile now. The suggestion is ageability. Try after 2012, if you can properly cellar." (12/2008)

"Its light, coppery pink hue may not be the look of a classic Rosé, but in all other ways this impressive sparkler is just that. Deep and very well-filled with a wealth of incisive, cherry-like fruit played against plentiful and very rich elements of autolyzed yeast, it is solid and remarkably refined at the same time and reveals a bit more with each sip. Dry, firmly structured and able to stand up to a range of special dishes, it will make splendid drinking with dishes ranging from salmon filets to duck breasts."
