"From the renowned, iconic Schramsberg, these are their lowest-level sparklers, and they are both exceptional values.
The non-vintage Mirabelle Brut white is sourced from Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Marin County and is made from 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir. The blend of young and older wines gives it a creamy richness, with lots of ripe peach and honeyed brioche, backed up by a medium-bodied, crisp, fresh, pure, dry sparkling wine that offers well-defined, small bubbles. This is a beauty to drink over the next few years.
Even better is the non-vintage Mirabelle Brut Rose, which is 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir sourced from the same areas, although here more comes from Marin and Mendocino than Napa, while Sonoma is also included in the mix. This dry rose has a lovely light salmon color, a big, sweet kiss of strawberries, and touches of raspberries and currants. The wine is medium-bodied and very frothy, with well-defined bubbles, and good intensity, dryness and finish. A beauty as well as a terrific value, it should be drunk over the next 1-2 years." "This sparkling wine is a heck of a value. A blend of 52% Pinot Noir and 48% Chardonnay aged two years on its lees prior to being bottled, it offers tiny, well-defined bubbles, persistent effervescence, and fresh brioche and lemon custard notes intertwined with hints of apple skins and tangerines. Fresh, medium-bodied and crisp, this delightful sparkler sells at a realistic price. It should last for several years."

"This bubbly is both complex and fun to drink, with lemon curd and spicy caramel aromas that lead to crisp but luscious cherry, apple and toasty vanilla flavors." (December 2012)
90 points / Mirabelle Brut Rosé - Connoisseurs' Guide to California Wine
"....There is plenty of fresh fruit to be found here, and it is matched step for step by persistent yeast, and, if a scant edge of proper Rosé astringency shows at the finish, the wine is one of proportion and polish." (November 2011)
90 points - Smart Buy / Mirabelle Brut - Wine Spectator
"Offers rich aromas of spicy yeast and baked apple and opulent flavors of lemon curd and Asian pear that finish with a crisp, mineral acidity." (November 2011)
